Mr Storm Watson has been promoted from Contract Lecturer to Lecturer. Mr Watson has been appointed permanently after being a contract lecturer in the School of Management Sciences. He was the top MCom student with his MCom (Business Management) cum laude in 2021. He also holds a BCom Honours (Business Management) cum laude and a BCom from Mandela Uni.
Mr Siyabonga Sirayi has been promoted from Part-time Lecturer to Associate Lecturer. Mr Sirayi is studying for this MCom in Business Management and holds a BTech and Diploma in Management Practice. He was an academic advisor, contract lecturer, library assistant, tutor, and tutoring workshop facilitator before starting in this position.
We also welcome a new face to the department. Ms Nonkululeko Khumalo has been appointed a Lecturer in Business Management. Ms Khumalo has experience as facilitator, e-Tutor, and mentor. Recently she published a book entitled “Journey to your life’s purpose”. She also served as Western Cape Provincial Corporate Services Head in a government department.
